With its 25 kilometres of coastline, Antibes Juan-les-Pins has many beaches.

Never very wide, more or less large, sometimes hidden, made of pebbles or sand, very sunny or a little shady, public with showers and toilets or private with catering, mattresses, parasols and leisure activities… everyone will find the beach that suits him in Antibes Juan-les-Pins.

Pebble beaches

To the east of Antibes, from the Brague district to Fort Carré, the beaches are made of pebbles carried and rejected by the Var. A few metres from the shore, the waters are very deep. The water is therefore cooler but it is advisable to be more careful with young children and to wear water shoes for the most sensitive. Its beaches are supervised during the summer, they are equipped with showers and a fast food is possible on some points.

Sandy beaches

Accessible from the port of Antibes, La Gravette beach, in the shade of the ramparts when the sun goes behind the roofs, is a sandy beach protected from wind and swell. Surveillance and first aid post.

Leaving the old town of Antibes, in the direction of Cap d’Antibes, 2 long sandy beaches, the Ponteil beach and the Salis beach are perfect for young children as they are shallow. A large car park, a sailing school and above all a Handi-plage point allow everyone to enjoy the joys of the water. Both beaches are equipped with lifeguard stations with lifeguards, toilets and showers.

On the Juan-les-Pins side, the public sandy beaches run from the centre to the exit of the town in the direction of Golfe-Juan. Equipped with first-aid posts, you can find there food and drink as well as showers and toilets.

The private beaches of our city, scattered in all the sectors, allow you to rent mattresses with umbrellas, to eat, and for some of them offer leisure or water sports. Some of them are managed by the municipality.

The creeks and small beaches of Cap d’Antibes

To the south and on the west face of Cap d’Antibes (on the way to Juan-les-Pins), there are a few small beaches, more or less wild, which never lack charm…sometimes hidden, intimate, they allow you to discover the seabed with masks and snorkels. Some of these beaches are not supervised.
